2024/10/30 Update: New Demo Reel
Hello there! Today, I did not have a very big update on my final project, but for applying the CoMotion branding team, I've edited a new demo reel of my past motion graphics work including several shots from 'The Prophecy.' And down below is the link to the reel, please enjoy!
2024/10/28 Update: Class 15 Checkpoint
Happy week 8! I've done with my MFA thesis in Illustration and now is the exclusive time for me to work on this.
In this update, I've completed the silhouette character rigging and animation that will be applied to multiple scenes. In the first close-up of turnaround, I managed to turn the character by shifting and deforming the layers to create an "illusion" of this character is turning behind.
For transition, I applied a cut-on-action of connecting two turnarounds to show another scene. Continued with a full-body rigging animation that almost took me overnight t finish. But I am very satisfied with the result.
Definitely worst decision to do riggings in After Effects WITHOUT plugin but I love suffering so whatever
2024/10/24 Update: Progress on frame-by-frame shots
Hello there! It is a late update on my frame-by-frame shots of the project. It's beem a tough week of multi-tasking on both of thesis and MA project, but the good thing is, all of them is on the right track.
I struggled a while on drawing frame-by-frame in Photoshop, still not familiar with the onion skin settings and tried in other software such as Moho. But ended up back into the almighty Photoshop.
Down below is a snapshot of my work-in-progress. Played with the layer styles and turned out stylish with the brush strokes I applied.
